EyeROV raised a Pre-Series A round of funding from Kochouseph Chittilappilly V Guard Founder

We have recently raised a Pre-Series A round of funds led by Kochouseph Chittilappilly founder of V-Guard and Wonderla Group of Companies. The round also saw the participation of an angel Investor. 

EyeROV plans to utilize the fresh funds for new product development, market expansion and adding new Industry verticals. EyeROV will be developing new unmanned water robotics systems for the Marine, Oil & Gas and Defense sectors. EyeROV is building an advanced version of ROV, Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) and Autonomous Surface Vehicle (ASV). EyeROV is also exploring market expansion to the Middle East.

EyeROV, is a fast-growing robotics and AI startup building unmanned underwater vehicles/robots. We have built a highly portable and customizable Underwater Inspection Class Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) / Underwater Drone which can perform underwater inspections of infrastructures in a safer and efficient manner. EyeROV has more than 30+ clients including BPCL, Tata, NPOL DRDO, Indian Coast Guard, Indian Railways, NHDC, KSEB, KNNL etc… EyeROV sells indigenously developed underwater drones/Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) to Defense, Research, and Disaster Management Organizations and also provides underwater inspection services using Underwater Robots/ROV’s to Dams, Bridges, Oil & Gas, Ports & Shipping sectors. EyeROV was founded in 2016 by Johns T Mathai and Kannappa Palaniappan alumnus of IIT Delhi, IIT Madras and CET Trivandrum. The company was initially incubated in Kerala Startup Mission and Maker Village and later seed-funded by BPCL and GAIL. The company head office is located at Kerala Technology Innovation zone Kalamassery, Kochi, Kerala. EyeROV’s current investment round is not yet closed and is looking to add a few more selected strategic angel investors.
